Sue specializes in working with high net worth families, corporate executives and retirees. Her team provides financial and exit planning advisory and strategies that include non-traditional investment options. She enjoys focusing on each client’s unique financial objectives and risk tolerances and constructing portfolios to match those needs. Sue’s abundance of experience and expertise allows her to contribute in a direct way to every client’s financial and mental peace of mind.

An investment professional for over 40 years, Sue has a diverse array of institutional experience including managing taxable, pension, and 401(k) funds for insurance companies. Sue served as Anthem, Inc.’s first Chief Investment Officer where she was responsible for the investment oversight of $3.0 billion in insurance company assets and $450 million of pension and 401(k) Plan assets. She actively participated in Anthem’s due diligence teams as they rapidly grew the company through mergers and acquisitions. 

Prior to a career in investment management, Sue worked in strategic planning and internal audit at Owens-Illinois, Inc. Shortly after completing her B.A., she was a recreation worker with the American Red Cross in Vietnam.

Sue was an active member of the Board of Directors of Circentre, Inc., a key player in the development of the Simon Properties’ Circle Centre Mall in downtown Indianapolis. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Kelley (Indiana University) School of Business Alumni Association and the American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis. She was a member of the Life Officers’ Management Association (LOMA) Investment Advisory Board and was Chair of the Southeastern Life Insurance Securities Association. 

Sue earned a B.A. from Drake University, an MBA from Indiana University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She is an active angel investor investing in early-stage growth companies.
